When is Jam Time the busiest?

Mornings from open to 11:30am are the busiest. Our quietest time of the day is from 12-3pm. Winter mornings and rainy days year round are busy. But really, any time is a fun time to visit Jam Time!

How often do you clean your facility?

Jam Time strives to be the cleanest indoor playspace! We wash and sanitize all major areas such as floors, tables, and bathrooms daily. The baby area gets sanitized nightly as well. Throughout the day we wipe down individual toys. All major structures, play tables, ride-ons, individual toys – EVERYTHING gets sanitized once a week. The ball pit is fully drained, washed, and all balls sanitized every 2-weeks. During the summer months, deeper cleaning may be done every other week since we do not have as many people visiting as the busy winter months. We have an online cleaning schedule that alerts our staff when something is due to be cleaned so we can ensure nothing is overlooked. Both locations also have a FreshAir Surround air purrifer by Vollara.

Are Free Play Passes or Discount Play Passes valid at both locations?

Absolutely, you can use all passes at any and all of our locations!

Can I leave and come back later in the day without paying again?

Absolutely! Your admission is valid for the entire day which means you can always leave for lunch and/or a nap and come back to play later in the day. Just save your recipt and show it to the manager when you return.

Am I able to bring in my own food?

You are welcome to bring in your own food, snacks, and drinks, but everything must be nut and peanut free. We also have a small café that sells drinks and snacks.

Must everyone wear socks?

In order to keep Jam Time as clean as possible, everyone (kids and adults) must wear socks at Jam Time. We sell brand new socks that are yours to keep for $2 in case you forget to bring socks.

Why do you close early on the weekend?

We close at 1:30pm on Saturday and Sunday to allow Jam Time to offer private birthday parties on weekend afternoons when we host 2pm and 4pm private birthday parties. We offer non-private birthday parties at 10am and 12pm.

Do you have a place to change a diaper?

Yes, we have changing tables in all of our restrooms.

I have a child under the age of 1, is Jam Time suited for babies?

We have an infant area with lots of baby toys including bouncers, an exosaucer, a smaller ball pit filled with infant toys, and soft gym mats and tunnels. 0-6 is our age range, and it's a great environment for anyone to start playing!

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express

Are reservations required to visit your playspace?

You can walk in anytime we are open to play – no reservations required! There are just a handful of events throughout the year we were require tickets for special events (such as Presidents Days morning from 9am-12pm), so be sure to check our website before visiting!

How far ahead should I book my party?

We recommend booking your party at least 6-8 weeks in advance. For parties from November through April, the sooner you book the better since some people start booking their winter parties in the summer. For summer parties, you can book 4-6 weeks in advance.

I booked a Jam Time party, what’s next?

After you book a party and pay your $100 deposit, we will next touch base a few days before the party via email to re-confirm all of the party details, to get a final head count for the number of kids, and to ask if you would like to add any pizzas to the party.

What happens if I need to cancel my party?

All party deposits are non-refundable if you decide to cancel your party. If you need to cancel your party due to illness or weather, we will work with you to reschedule the party to a future date that works for both you and Jam Time. You will only loose your deposit if you cancel your party, not if you reschedule your party.

What is in the goodie bags that you provide?

Our favors are custom made per party based on the party theme and age of guests. Our general rule is 1 “big” item such as a water bottle, dry erase board, stuffed animal, full size bubbles, etc. and a few smaller items such as a bounce ball, rubber duck, stickers, stamp, etc. There is never any candy or food items in our goodie bags unless specifically requested.

What's included in the decorative theme?

We provide themed plates, napkins, and cups for the kids. Also, we include a birthday banner for each wall, hanging decorations in the window, tablecloths, balloons, and a special customized birthday sign! Jam Time provides solid color paper goods for the adults including cups, plates and napkins plus plastic utensils.

Do I need to bring anything for the cake cutting?

Jam Time provides single birthday candles, a lighter to light the candles, and a cake knife. You are welcome to bring in a number specific candle or special candle if you wish.

Do you have a refrigerator and/or freezer?

Yes, we have a fridge and freezer that you are welcome to use.

Where do you get the cupcakes and are they nut free?

Our owner Miss Mandy bakes all cupcakes for Jam Time parties. She has a Residential Kitchen license that allows her to bake them in her home kitchen and provide them to Jam Time parties. All cupcakes have nut free ingredients, however, the kitchen where the cupcakes are made is not a true nut free kitchen since Mandy keeps nuts and peanut butter in her house. But all ingredients are nut free.

Where do you get your pizzas from?

Our Maynard location gets pizzas from Maynard Village Pizza while our Natick location gets pizza from Nick’s Pizza. All pizza ingredients are nut free.

Am I able to bring in my own food?

All pizza must be purchased through Jam Time. They are $11 per cheese pizza ($2 per extra topping), which includes all tax, tip, and delivery fees. You are welcome to bring in your own snacks and drinks, just no nuts or peanut products. No alcohol please.

Am I able to bring in beer or wine?

We have a strict no alcohol policy, which means no beer or wine. You are welcome to bring in soda, juice boxes or any other non-alcoholic beverages.

Should I tip the staff that helped during my party?

You are absolutely welcome to tip any or all staff members that helped during your party! While it is not required, tips are very much appreciated by the staff. Party entertainers such as a balloon artist, musician, or magician are generally tipped.

Are piñatas allowed?

ONLY pull string piñatas are allowed. There can be NO hitting of the piñata whatsoever. We do have a piñata hook.

Oh no, I missed one of my classes, can I make it up?

Yes, you are welcome to do a make-up in any other class during your class session. You can do a make-up at either Jam Time location. If there is not a make-up that will work in your schedule, talk to a Jam Time manager to work something out before the end of your session.

I’m taking a class in Maynard, can I play for free in Natick?

Absolutely! If you are currently enrolled in a class, you get unlimited Jam Time play at both locations!

Do you offer a free trial class?

If you are new to Jam Time and interested in enrolling in a class, you are welcome to try out a class for free before you commit to the entire session. Talk to any Jam Time manager to signup for a trial class. Your trial class includes playground admission for the day.

Your classes already started, is it too late to sign up?

We'd love for you to still join us! If our session of classes has already began, we will prorate the price based on the number of classes that remain in the session. We'd love to still have you, and you can even drop in if you'd like! It's just $15 to drop in to any of our classes!
