Coronavirus Update

Dear Jam Time Families,

Jam Time is carefully monitoring developments around COVID-19 and following guidance from the CDC, Massachusetts Department of Public Health at www.mass.gov and our local Department of Health offices. We met with our Maynard Deputy Health Agent Wednesday evening who assured us that at this time, Jam Time is safe to stay open given the precautions we are taking as outlined below. We are monitoring this daily.

Precautions

* We are sanitizing the entire playfloor throughout the day constantly wiping down EVERYTHING! This includes individual toys, touchscreens, handles and high traffic areas.
* We fully sanitize each night using a water/bleach solution and lysol spray all toys, play structures, ledges, handles, baby zone, café tables, bathrooms, chairs and high chairs – EVERYTHING!
* We have a stocked supply of hand sanitizer, bleach, clorox wipes, and Lysol spray
* We have removed all balls from the ballpit and replaced them with a fun obstacle course area that can be wiped down throughout the day.
* We have minimized many of the individual toys such as market play food and play tools so we can ensure we’re able to wipe everything down.
* We have removed stuffed animals and dress-up clothes and items we are not able to wipe down.
* We have placed a sign on the front door stating that “If you or your child is sick, please do NOT enter Jam Time.
* We have hand sanitizer stations at the front reception desk, café area, and inside the party/classroom. We encourage hand washing when entering and leaving Jam Time.

Birthday Parties

* Unless advised differently from the Department of Public Health, we are planning to run all birthday parties as currently scheduled.
* We are lysol spraying the entire facility between each birthday party.
* If you wish to reschedule your birthday party, we will hold your deposit for up to 1 year so you can move your party to a future date. You will not lose your deposit unless you cancel your party altogether. You can email party@jamtime.com if you wish to reschedule or put your party on hold or to book a future party.

Future Planning and How YOU can help

* We will be closing Jam Time earlier than normal to help save on costs. We will post these times on the homepage of our website at www.jamtime.com and at our Facebook Page at /JamTimePlay
* We are looking to add private play options where you can rent Jam Time for an hour after it’s been cleaned and lysol sprayed and sanitized. Information on this will be coming soon.
* As of right now, we are planning to run our spring class session that starts Monday.
* We ask that you PLEASE STAY HOME if you, your child or their caregiver is sick.
* WASH WASH WASH your hands before and when leaving Jam Time.

The safety and well-being of our Staff, Clients and our little Jam Time Friends is our top priority and we will continue to clean and sanitize and keep Jam Time as germ free as much as we can! Please let us know if you have ANY questions at all! You can email us at info@jamtime.com
